Lola sighed as she threw off her covers, she had come home exhausted and had needed a nap, it probably wasn't the best idea seeing as she took a nap around five in the afternoon, lola never did that and when she did, she could never sleep that night. she knew she was in for a long night, so with that in mind, she had almost planned to go out tonight, she wouldn't need sleep anyhow if she did, and that seemed like the best idea to her. Lola walked up to the mirror and looked at herself in the mirror before blowing up her bangs in a big puff of air, she had a little ways to go before she was presentable, but that didn't matter, she had all the time in the world, it wasn't like she was meeting someone there or she had a date or anything like that. In fact, thinking on it now, she hadn't had a date in.... well... a really long time, it was something she didn't really like talking about because it reminded her of matteo. The fact that she hadn't dated anyone since him kind of made her nauseous, it may have sounded bad, but you would think that she would have moved on by now, she was almost sure he had. But something in her had just told her that the relationship wouldn't work out with anyone else but him, and so she had refrained from any dating and just went with the flow of things. She still felt bad for that whole situation, it was part of the reason she had 'rebelled' in her eyes, it was so much more than rebelling, she had gotten tired of her parents' high expectations and just disappeared without so much as a wave goodbye, she just left them there, basking in their self-conceitedness. she couldn't stand them.
they had controlled her life long enough and finally lola had decided that she was tired of it, of course she did this a little too late seeing as they had banned matteo from seeing her around her seventeenth birthday and she left a few months after, she changed everything she could about herself, starting with crazy tattoos and a major hair change, her hair was now pink and most of her body was covered in tattoos. She loved the new change, and so did her new friends, it wasn't too long before she got involved with blood diamonds, her personality changed alot in this time, she learned to fend for herself instead of everything being handed to her, she could fight off anyone if she could, the good thing about it all though was that she still kept her nice traits, she would still walk up to a stranger and be nice to them, she would still love to have a conversation with someone, she was as nice as a person could be, but she was guarded, she knew who to trust and who not to trust, and she didn't just trust anyone who walked off the street, you had to earn lola's trust, and that was what most people did, she had a lot of true friends and it all came from her being so determined not to be like her parents. oh, how she hated them. But she didn't want to think about that now, she wanted to think about getting ready to go out tonight, and having a good time, that's pretty much what she lived for now these days, since she didn't really have anything else going for her, it was kind of sad really, matteo was her life back then and ever since he was banned from her life he hadn't came back like she thought he would, it would probably be because her parents made sure he would never contact her again, and at the time lola had no idea what to do than to agree and watch her love be torn away form her, but now, she knew better. And now, she had the slightest hope in her that she would find him again somehow. But good things never happened for lola, she knew life wasn't rainbows and butterflies, this was the reason she didn't like to think about him very often, everytime she did she felt lonely, and she hated feeling that way.
Lola threw on some vans and skinny jeans along with a torn up T-shirt and a few wrist bands and combed her hair getting it just the way she liked it before putting on some make-up and heading out the door, she was determined to get her mind off of everything, whether it just be dancing with a couple of strangers or getting drunk, tonight it really didn't matter, she wasn't realy a party girl, not sold out like some she knew, she didn't live to get drunk or anything like that, it was just one of those things that helped when she wanted to think about something else... like now for instance. That's all she wanted, she would rather not think about everything, she didn't want to feel stupid and lonely like she so often did without matteo in her life. It was pathetic really, or that's the way she viewed it. It was weird to care this much for a person when they had probably forgotten about your existence. Lola sighed as she pushed open the door of the club, the atmosphere practically begging her to come in and have a good time. Lola pushed past a few dnacers and grinders here and there before she finally got to the bar, she needed a little something to give her a little buzz before she did anything, it would help get her mind right on track, she sighed as the drink was brought to her within a matter of minutes, she took a few swings of it before setting it down, spinning her chair around to look at the crowd, she could have sworn she saw him... but she didn't want to voice her opinion, how crazy would she look then? she wasn't going to say anything, maybe she had her buzz already, there was no way that could be him, it had been too long, she had no idea who he was anymore. she sighed as she turned around and rubbed her forehead, maybe... maybe she just needed to go home.. this was rediculous.
